What is SEO?
Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Ten years ago, optimizing a site meant a little more than adding a meta keywords tag and submitting the site to a list of search engines. Even worse, many sites were developed with no attention to search engine optimization or marketing at all. Today, it's a very different enterprise. Every company and individual has their opinion on what the most important step is in SEO. Our lead SEO programmer sat down and read the entire Google Patent. Our SEO strategies are all based on facts found in that patient and from proven methods. There are 3 main methods in which we use to increase your ranking.
1. Website Structure:
Believe it or not, the layout and design of your site can effect the way google scans your page. Many sites on the net have small errors which will restrict google from accessing keywords on their pages. Our programmers create pages that are indexed properly and can also take old pages and redesign them for an existing site.2. Website Content:
Is your site's content well written and well organized? Does it clearly communicate your purpose, products, and services? Does it include important key phrases that will help your audience find you? These are just a few questions that we work with you to answer. We will help you create content that will not only sound good, but help search engines find you.3. Link Building:
This is a method which we can not do for you, but we will teach you. Link building is an extremely important part of your rank and it is one of the easiest ways to increase your rank. There are do's and don'ts when adding your links to the web. We would be happy to teach you the right way while avoiding the wrong.
Page Rank
Page Rank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. The more votes that are cast for a page, the more important the page must be. Also, the importance of the page that is casting the vote determines how important the vote itself is. Google calculates a page's importance from the votes cast for it. How important each vote is is taken into account when a page's Page Rank is calculated. In order to increase your page rank you must spend time on number 3. Link Building.
